This course consists of 9 classes, focused primarily on practice, thanks to which you will get to know electronics from scratch. This will allow you to fix and overhaul electronic devices at home, create a simple power supply unit or build systems such as an electronic roller blinds controller. Everything created and constructed during the classes will be tested, modified and subjected to numerous experiments.
Our course is conducted from scratch and each participant has access to their own laboratory stand with all the electronic equipment and educational aids, provided by our Academy. During classes, participants will learn the principle of operation of transistors, capacitors, phototransistors, transformers and rectifying diodes, etc.
Course plan:
- Familiarizing with basic terms, concepts and laws, i.e. current, voltage, Ohm’s law, Kirchhoff’s laws
- Familiarizing with basic electronic components, i.e. diodes, transistors, inductors, capacitors, photoresistors and their operational rules in practice
- Voltage stabilization
- Explanation of differences between alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC)
- Conversion of alternating current into direct current using transformers and bridge rectifiers
- Familiarizing with systems for raising and lowering voltage
- Operation of measuring equipment used for daily repairs
- Diagnosing and repairing simple electrical devices, e.g. power bank, radio-controlled car or light dimmers
- Soldering circuits, components and wires
- Construction of many practical circuits , that will ease your daily life
What distinguishes this course from others?
First of all, our classes are conducted stationary, under the watchful eye of the Academy’s Instructor , who shares his/her knowledge, offers help and answers bothering questions.
I like jury rigging . Will I learn how to repair home electronic devices during the course?
Absolutely! Throughout the classes, participants gain solid foundations for repairing or modifying simple electrical devices used on a daily basis, including radios, computer adapters, light dimmers or children’s toys.
Do you offer any support after the course?
Participants have unlimited access to online materials, presentations and exercises. In addition, after completing the course, we encourage them to create their own systems and offer them three 10 minutes consultations with the Instructor for free. She/He helps with the implementation of the project and provide valuable tips. What’s more, after each class the participants receive homework, thanks to which they should systematize and consolidate their knowledge, as well as familiarize with the constructions of some new systems. All participants, after the course, receive a newsletter and are welcome to join a group of graduates on Facebook. There we provide advice, exchange experience or share innovative ideas with other members.
„Because trying on your own takes 10 times longer than during the course.”
That’s how one of the participants answered the question: „Why is it worth attending these classes?” As it turned out later – he took part in all types of courses, we offer.
„I would like to take part in the development of technology. I would like to build my own circuits.”
The course is geared towards learning electronics from the basic level to building your own systems independently. The last classes of the course are prepared especially for the participants so they can construct electronic devices and install them in their own homes which is an impressive and tempting perspective.
Course price: 760 PLN/person for 9 classes
Who are the Instructors?
We are professionals and enthusiasts of electronics or programming microcontrollers. Each of us has huge practical experience, and the vast majority has graduated from technical studies. Among us, there are employees of electronic companies, members of teams producing Mars rovers for international competitions, and designers of their own highly technologically advanced devices. We construct, build, print 3D objects and program. We are passionate about everything based on new technologies and technological development.
